This exceptional crop comes to you from the fertile highlands of Kericho in Kenya. It stands out for its high quality, driven by innovative and experimental processing methods aimed at developing unique and well-balanced flavor profiles.
Carefully processed using modern techniques such as yeast fermentation and co-fermentation, this lot delivers a distinctive and expressive character in every cup.
Initially, this coffee was sourced from Bomet and Kericho, but it gradually expanded to include other regions across Kenya through collaboration with local producers committed to quality and continuous improvement. It is processed in small-scale facilities in Kericho, reflecting a focus on supporting local communities rather than relying on centralized processing centers in Nairobi.
The beans are carefully selected from farmers who receive fair pricing, along with training in financial and agricultural management. They are also provided access to improved seedlings and technical guidance. In some stages of processing, local fruits are incorporated into co-fermentation, enhancing complexity while contributing to the local economy.
This crop represents a balance between exceptional quality and meaningful social impact—bringing together refined flavor and genuine support for farmers and their communities.
