The Carmen district is considered one of the key regions for specialty coffee production in Central America. Its farms have been managed by the renowned Antonio Alfaro family for nearly a century, with four generations dedicated to cultivating coffee to this day.

Around 60% of the coffee cherries grow under shade, allowing them to mature more slowly and evenly. This process enhances natural sugars and enriches the overall flavor profile of the cup.
